Pad Kra Pao – Thai Wok Dish

Ingredients for 2 portions

  • 50 g Thai stir-fry holy basil paste
  • 200 g rice noodles
  • 200 g tofu
  • 100 g green beans
  • 2 eggs
  • Some cilantro
  • Some Thai basil
  • Some fresh chili rings
  • Some peanut oil


  1. Prepare the rice noodles. Remove the ends from the beans and fry them in a little peanut oil in a wok. Crumble the tofu.
  2. Heat the peanut oil in the wok and fry the tofu until hot. When the tofu is crispy, stir in the paste and beans.
  3. In a separate pan, fry two eggs in oil to make one fried egg each.
  4. Serve the Pad Kra Pao with rice noodles and fried egg together. Top with red chilli rings and Thai basil or coriander if desired. Enjoy your rice appetite!
